Cecil White McCulley, 76, of Swansea, Ill., died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born Feb. 27, 1931, in Caruthersville, Mo., son of the late Jimmy and Ophelia White McCulley, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was in the restaurant business.

On 1960, in Caruthersville, he married Juanita Mott, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include one son, Carl Odom, of Swansea; one grandson, Shannon Wallace, of Caruthersville and one granddaughter, Melinda Odom, of Dyersburg, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by one son, Marvin Odom and one brother, James Wright McCulley.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 1, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville with the Rev. Bob Titus officiating.

Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were members of the American Legion Post in Caruthersville.
