L.H. "Mac" McFadden, 84, of Kennett, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at Skaggs Hospital in Branson, Mo.

Born Dec. 21, 1922, in Monticello, Ark., son of the late Leonard Singleton and Ruby Harper McFadden, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in WWII, and was employed with the City of Kennett water treatment facility. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

On June 6, 1952, in Paragould, Ark., he married Virginia Gooden, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Martha McFadden Burns.

Survivors include two sons, Roger McFadden and wife, Pat and Rodney McFadden and wife, Dona, all of Springfield, Mo., and special friend, Lottie Plumley, of Kennett.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Carter officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers are Jim Little, Jack Crawford, Elmer Richardson, Bob Plumley, Joe Pelts and Larry Jones.

Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Ford, Rick Bookout, George French and Charles Carroll.
