Born Jan. 13, 1946, in Cardwell, Mo., son of the late John Thomas "Tommy" and Irene Lockard Glasscock, he was a graduate of Cardwell High School and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was employed for the Union Pacific Railroad, formerly known as the Cotton Belt Railroad and was a member of the Sixth Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, John Thomas Glasscock, III, and Bobby Bond, both of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Monica Cook, of Pine Bluff and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home in Pine Bluff.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 23, at the Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home with Ed Dye officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, Feb. 23, in the Cardwell Cemetery.
