Born July 28, 1917, in Wirth, Ark., son of the late Stephen and Pearl Collins Angotti, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII and a farmer.
On Dec. 22, 1945, in Caruthersville, Mo., he married Marylene, who preceded him in death on March 17, 1993. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma May Murphy and Edna Jo Bilkey and two brothers, Ronald and Finnis Angotti.
Survivors include one son, Danny Angotti and wife, Charlotte, of Wardell; one brother, Donald Angotti, of Savannah, Tenn.; one sister, Bertha Merrick, of Chesterville, Mo.; two grandchildren, Jeremy Angotti, of Wardell and Jill Danielle Hooten, of Ashburn, Va., and one great-granddaughter, Olivia Nicole Hooten, of Ashburn.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Today, Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Wardell.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Wardell Baptist church with the Rev. Griff Walker and Harry Kinnon Mathis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Cemetery at Wardell.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Tanner, Billy Ward, Jerry Luellen, Harold Gene Wilson, John Hankins and David Boyd.
Memorials may be made to the North Pemiscot Teachers Association Scholarship Fund.
