Edward Yarber

Edward W. Yarber, 84, of Rockford, Ill., formerly of Kennett, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 28, 1922, in Decator, Tenn.

Survivors include one son, William Yarber and wife, Peggy, of Rockford; four daughters, Linda Olden, of Kennett, Tris Clark and husband, Robert, of Beloit, Wis., Joyce DeVlieger and husband, Gary, of Loves Park, Ill., and Sandy Mayer, of Pecatonica, Ill.; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Earnestine; one daughter, Hattie Clara and two sons, Ray and Leon Yarber.

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of local arrangements.
