Born May 15, 1924, in LaForge, Mo., son of the late Albert and Margie Beardsley Dismore, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in W.W.II. He was a truck driver, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Gideon and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
On April 20, 1946, in Concord, Mo., he married Mary Margaret Spencer, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one daughter, Judy Davis and husband, Arthur, of Portage, Ind., one grandson, Adam Davis, of Philadelphia, Pa., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronald, Raymond and George Dismore and two sisters, Virginia Wyatt and Adelle Chapman.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Gideon.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 14, at the First Baptist Church in Gideon with the Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating.
Burial with military rites will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilbourn, Mo.
