Kelly Lee James, 50, of Campbell, Mo., died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Born Dec. 20, 1956, in San Pedro, Calif., son of Bill and Grace James, he was a U.S. Marine veteran, having served in Vietnam and he was a truck driver.

He married Carolyn Medina Lynn and later married Bessie Weatherman, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Kyle James, of Campbell; one daughter, Kyleigh Davis, of Malden, Mo.; his father, William T. James, Sr., of Campbell; his mother, Grace Clara Witt, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Bill James, Jr., and wife, Brenda, of Campbell and Timothy Witt, of Phoenix and two sisters, Sherry Magda, of Glendale, Ariz., and Cathy Jorde, of Phoenix.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 12, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti, Mo. with Dr. Mike Melton officiating.
