Joe Hemingway

Joe Hemingway, 66, of Hornersville, Mo., died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, in Arkansas.

Born Dec. 3, 1940, in Paragould, Ark., son of the late Glenn T. and Flora Pearl Keen Hemingway, he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Hornersville Masonic Lodge.

He married Viola Margaret Wilkinson, who preceded him in death on Nov. 24, 2005.

Survivors include one brother, Dr. Glenn Hemingway and wife, Marla, of Santa Barbara, Calif., and a nephew, James Keen.

Memorials services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, at the First Presbyterian Church in Kennett with the Rev. Jocelyn VanBuskirk officiating. A reception will be held following the service in the Presbyterian Activity Center.

Memorials may be made to the Dunklin County Library for the Hemingway Culinary Collection.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
