Ruby Clark, 92, of Thayer, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at Shady Oaks Nursing Home in Thayer.

Born Oct. 10, 1914, in Portageville, Mo., daughter of the late Stephen William and Emma Jane Elliott Jones, she was a homemaker.

On Jan. 12, 1929, in Caruthersville, Mo., she married "Pete" T.P. Clark, who preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 2005. She was also preceded in death by one son, Billy Gene Clark; three brothers, Cliff, Steve and Floyd Jones and three sisters, Gert Howard, Eva Eaves and Hope Pratt.

Survivors include four daughters, Emma Lou Crowe, of Kennett, Mary Sue Henderson and Joanne Strop and husband, Paul, all of Waynesville, N.C., and Donna Zink and husband, Greg, of Carthage, Mo.; three sons, John C. Clark and wife, Lutchie, of Memphis, Tenn., Larry Clark and wife, Joy, of West Plains, Mo., and Ron Clark and wife, Gletta, of Thayer; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 5, at DeLisle Funeral Home Chapel in Portageville with the Rev. Vic Elliott officiating.

Burial was in the Portageville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Anthony, Stephen and Cal Clark, Andy and Jim Henderson and Zink and Michael Applet.

Honorary pallbearers were Joe Clark, John Clark, Jr., Mike Crowe and Tommy Henderson.
