Born Nov. 9, 1933, in Kennett, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Evalene Mitchum Franklin.

On Feb. 21, 1955, she married Dale Eugene Edwards, who preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1999. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Geneva Morgan.

Survivors include one son, Dale Eugene Edwards, Jr., and wife, Tammy, of Pullman, Mich.; three daughters, Evelyn Denton and husband, Jimmy, of Paragould, Ark., Susan Stevenson and husband, Garey, of Senath, Mo., and Sheryl Dupuis and husband, Robert, of Breaux Bridge, La.; three brothers, Ralph and Therman Franklin, both of Florida and Pete Franklin, of Michigan; 15 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 6, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Arbyrd, Mo., with the Rev. Jon Stricklin officiating.

Burial was in the Lulu Cemetery at Senath.
