Jeffrey Tillman "JT" Newman, 33, of St. Louis, formerly of Hayti, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007.

Born Aug. 20, 1973, at Hayti, he was the son of Henry T. Newman and the late Maxine Lyles. He was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard.

Survivors include his father, Henry Newman and wife, Nita; grandmother, Quillar Mae Robinson of Hayti; one daughter, Briana Morgan of Overland Park, Kan.; one son, Armon Adams, of St. Louis; one step-daughter, Tiffany Morgan; one step-grandson, Giovannie, of Overland Park; three sisters, Gwendolyn Johnson and husband, Ronald, of Kennett, Stephanie Donald and husband, NC, of Elgin, Ill., and Yvette Robinson, of Aurora, Ill.; three step-sisters, Anickia Hubbard and husband, Melvin, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, Renee and husband, Lionel; Jackie and husband, Walter, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Judy of St. Louis; two step-brothers, Dwight and wife, Michelle, of Fort Worth, Tex. and Anthony and wife Lisa, of Cape Girardeau.

The funeral was at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ at Hayti, with Superintendent Courtney Sanders and Pastor Rev. Darion Thomas officiating.

Burial was in the Homestown Cemetery at Homestown, Mo.
