Born Aug. 25, 1933, in Hayti, Mo., daughter of the late Wilbur Edward and Clara Edna James Maclin, she was employed at Gideon Anderson and Plastene and was a member of the Wardell Baptist Church.
On Aug. 2, 1952, in Piggott, Ark., she married Jewel Mathis, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Phil Mathis, of Wardell; two daughters, Rhonda Quinn and husband, Rodney and Stacy McCorkle and husband, Paul, all of Wardell; four grandsons, Shawn Quinn, of Versailles, Ky., Stephen Quinn, of Kennett, Joshua McCorkle, of Brookland, Ark., and Adam McCorkle, of Wardell and two great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Elyse Quinn, both of Versailles.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Edwina Williams and Minnie Scobey.
Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m., today, Friday, Feb. 2, at the Wardell Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Wardell Baptist Church with the Rev. Griff Walker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Cemetery at Wardell.
