Idell Brown, 73, of Clarkton, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at her residence.
Born May 1, 1933, in Russellville, Ala., daughter of the late Alf and Ethel May Roberts Blakely, she was of the Pentecostal faith.
She married Jewel Morrow, who preceded her in death. She later married Richard Buddy Brown.
Survivors include six daughters, Dorothy Mae Mooney, of Hayti, Mo., Linda Faye Islam, of Los Angeles, Calif., Brenda Kay Scott, of Dyersburg, Tenn., Virginia Redden, of Clarkton, Robbie Jean Simmons and Betty Jean Brown, both of Steele, Mo.; five sons, James O'Neal Morrow, of Bowling Green, Fla., Donnie Joe Morrow, of Kennett, Gregory Lynn Morrow and Robert Brown, both of Steele and Kenneth Brown, of Deering, Mo.; four sisters, Dorothy Jean McKlinney, of Florence, Ala., Josie McGowin, of Tuskima, Ala., Martha Jones, of Killen, Ala., and Frances Drane, of Russellville, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Estelle Morrow; one brother, Ford Blakely; two sisters, Jessie Gabalin and Betty Blakely and one grandson, Victor Mooney.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Thursday, Feb. 1, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
