Fern Kinnard

Fern Kirkpatrick Kinnard, 76, of Kennett, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born May 26, 1930, in Randles, Mo., daughter of the late Jessie Oliver and Cora Acup Kirkpatrick, she was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.

On Aug. 3, 1946, in Piggott, she married Thomas L. Kinnard, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Thomas P. Kinnard and wife, Diane, of Yuma, Ariz.; two daughters, Diana Hall and husband, Jeff, of Cicero, Ind., and Anna "Vece" Macias, of Kennett; two brothers, Paul Kirkpatrick, of Yuma and Earl Kirkpatrick, of Noblesville, Ind.; two sisters, Eunice Millsap, of Kennett and Doris Mugler, of Illinois; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, William Kirkpatirck; four sisters, Opal and Ellen Kirkpatrick, Alma Cuff and Flora Edgin and one granddaughter, Jamie Hall.

Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m., today, Thursday, Feb. 1, at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with Chris Maynard officiating.

Pallbearers were Scott and Russell Kinnard, Travis and Dustin Mantz and Darin and Devin Tudor.

Memorials may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church, 21225 State Hwy EE, Kennett, Mo. 63857.

McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
