Lenora Mae Chailland, 73, of Kennett, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Oct. 21, 1933, in Kennett, daughter of the late Ray and Pearl Smedley Rogers, she was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church.
On March 11, 1951, she married Rex Chailland, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother, James Rogers.
Survivors include one son, Bruce Chailland and wife, Laverne, of Hollandale, Miss.; Pat Lane and husband, Jirden, of Senath, Mo.; one brother, Harry Rogers and wife, Lois, of Kennett; three grandchildren, Laura Fletcher and husband, Michael, of Leachville, Ark., Toby Lane and wife, Charity, of Kennett and Leigh Ann Nelson and husband, Rhett, of Cleveland, Miss., and five great-grandchildren, Katie, Chailland, T.J., Toby Jo and Cameron.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 29, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Revs. Dale Rickman and Gaylon Williams officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Gaylon Rogers, Larry Rogers, Mark Cannon, Brian Deck, Dave Summerall and Gene Felker.
