Elva Mae Frederick, 82, of Kennett, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at her residence.
Born Nov. 27, 1924, in Qulin, Mo., daughter of the late John Fred and Ida Jane Tonerlin Piatt, she was employed at Gossard in Malden and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
On May 7, 1972, in Risco, Mo., she married Theotis Frederick, who preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1998. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Curtis, Earl and Bill Piatt; one half-brother, Jack Piatt and one great-grandson.
Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Evans and husband, R.L., of Risco, Sandy Fuemeler, of Lebanon, Mo., and Charlotte Winchester and husband, Buddy, of Caruthersville, Mo.; two step-daughters, Sheila Franks and husband, Jerry, of Holcomb, Mo., and Sandra Whisenant and husband, Darrell, of Bull Shoals, Ark.; one half-brother, Dewey Piatt, of Qulin; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 31, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Clinton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett
