Born May 17, 1923, in Clarkton, Mo., son of the late William Bryant and Edna Lucille Bagby Miller, he was a veteran of WWII, and was employed by the railroad. He was of the Baptist faith.
On May 17, 1949, in Piggott, Ark., he married Alberta Berniece Vantrease, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two daughters, Deborah Lamar and husband, Randal, of Malden and Jacki Williams, of Oakland City, Ind.; one son, Donald T. Miller, of Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers, Thomas Miller, of Malden and Billy Miller, of South Carolina; one sister, Faye Suzepello, of California; eight grandchildren, Jason, Scott and Lance Lamar, Amanda Straw, Jodi, Matt and Micah Williams and Travis Miller and one great-grandchild, Alexander Straw.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, Jan. 26, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with David McElwain officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rosewood First Addition Cemetery at Malden.
