Bobby Harlon Hamlett, 69, of Kennett, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at Northeast Arkansas Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Oct. 17, 1937, in Paulden, Mo., son of the late Eual and Mary Helen Oliver Hamlett, he was a farmer and a ginner and a member of the Slicer Street Church of Christ.
On June 29, 1955, he married Bettie Hamrick, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two sons, Robbie Hamlett and wife, Rhonda, of Kennett and Joey Hamlett and wife, Belinda, of Armorel, Ark.; four daughters, Debbie Tice and husband, Jerry, of Grandin, Mo., Patty Payne and husband, Larry, of Rives, Mo., and Dana Coffer and husband, Steve and Mary Beth Wheeler and husband, Chuck, all of Kennett; one brother, Bill Hamlett and wife, Meridth, of Kennett; three sisters, Anne Cochran and husband, Ernest, of Kennett, Connie Inklebarger and husband, Joel, of Old Monroe, Mo., and Sherry Holt and husband, Melvin, of Arcola, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 25, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Spencer Furby officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Torey Tice, Patrick and Joe Bob Payne, J.J. Hamlett and Josh and Chris Coffer.
Honorary pallbearers are Alex, Nate, Ronald and Michael Hamlett.
