Jerry R. James, 67, of Kennett, formerly of Hayti, Mo., died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at Kennett.
Born March 31, 1939, in Gobler, Mo., son of the late Jessie W. and Hazel Katherine Decker James, he was employed as a sheet metal worker for Brown and Root.
In 1991, in St. Louis, Mo., he married Judy Carol Donahue, who survives.
Survivors also include one brother, Bobby James, of Hackleburg, Ala., and three sisters, Virginia McCoy, of LaMarque, Texas, Delores James, of Reelfoot Lake, Tenn., and Mary Mosby, of Memphis, Tenn.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., today, Friday, Jan. 19, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with the Rev. Leroy Thornton officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
