Bonnie Madison, 90, of Hayti, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
Born May 13, 1916, in Gill County, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ida Mae Guest Smith.
On Aug. 18, 1934, in Yell County, Ark., she married W.T. "Buck" Madison, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Fisher; two sisters, Juanita Stubbs and Jean Younger and two granddaughters, LaRenda Bullock and Ashley Rogers.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty McCabe, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Margaret Weaver, of Shreveport, La., and LaNell Davis and husband, Gerald, of Wardell, Mo.; one son, Jim Madison and wife, Kathy, of Hayti; one sister, Ora Roberts, of Macon, Ga.; one brother, Jim Victory, of Denver, Colo.; 11 grandchildren, John and Ron Weaver, Leigh Ann Meza, Kent and John Fisher, Nancy Schiavo, Joey Clowers, LaRae Ward, Jim and Matthew Madison and Amy Branson; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Bro. Bobby Quinn officiating.
Burial was in the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Caruthersville, Mo.
Pallbearers were Larry Palmer, John A. Thompson, Bobby Tomlinson, Bob and Randy Turnage and Dave Boyd.
Honorary pallbearers were Rita Pruiett, Rene Palmer, Dena Welch, Patricia Robinson, Gwen Farr and Helen Davis.
