Beulah Dearing

Beulah Juanita Dearing, 85, of Kennett, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, at the Heritage Nursing Home.

Born Jan. 3, 1922, in Kewanee, Mo., daughter of the late Hiram and Fannie Hickson Moody, she was retired from Dunklin County Memorial Hospital Central Supply and was a member of the Bakerville Church of Christ.

On Sept. 23, 1939, in Kennett, she married Jim Dearing, Jr., who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Irene Moody and four brothers, Jim, Roy, J.L. and Edward Moody.

Survivors include one son, Benny Joe Dearing and wife, Mary Ann, of East Alton, Ill.; three daughters, Bonnie Jane Bounds, Ella Gean Alexander Wade and husband, Jeff and Barbara June Harmon, all of Kennett; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 9, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with James Powell officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Dennis Pickard, Danny Nixon, Jr., Darren Dearing, Donnie Folkes, Terry Burke and Jason Burke.

Memorials may be made to the Bakerville Church of Christ.
