Nettie Hopkins, 91, of Wardell, Mo., died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at Memphis, Tenn.

Born Aug. 3, 1915, in Wardell, daughter of the late John Franklin and Flossie Mae Anderson Miller, she attended Wardell School.

On Jan. 15, 1938, in Blytheville, Ark., she married Cloyd Marion Handley, Sr., who preceded her in death on May 9, 1959. She later married Harvey Julius Hopkins on Aug. 5, 1972. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1992.

Survivors include two grandchildren, Sam Handley, of Houston, Texas and Anne H. Cummings, of Pawleys Island, S.C.

Graveside services were held Monday, Jan. 8, in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville, Mo. with the Rev. Dwight Chapman officiating.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
