Winfred Flake Robinson, Sr., 70, of Crossville, Tenn., formerly of Holcomb, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007,

Born Jan. 5, 1936, in White Oak, Mo., he was the son of the late William Frank and Delta Riddle Robinson.

He married Janis Karen Cates, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one son, Winfred Flake Robinson, Jr., and one sister, Denata Whaley.

Survivors include one daughter, DeOnna Robinson, of Crossville; one son, Dr. Jeffrey Robinson, of Knoxville, Tenn.; four sisters, Maisie Luther and Terry Hall, both of Pekin, Ill., and Marie Ferrell and Ruth Reel, both of Kennett; one brother, Brady Robinson, of Kennett and grandchildren, Lauren Janis and John William Robinson, both of Knoxville.

Memorial services were held on Friday, Jan. 5, at the Bilbrey Funeral Home Chapel in Crossville.
