Bryne Hartwell, 70, of Kennett, formerly of Bragg City, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Nov. 23, 1936, in Bragg City, son of the late Ezra and Lydia Norman Hartwell, he was employed at Emerson Electric.
On Oct. 3, 1955, in Kennett, he married Rosie Bolton, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Gary Dale Hartwell and wife, Flora, of Piggott, Ark., and Max Delan Hartwell, of Bragg City; on daughter, Tina Diane Privett, of Kennett; two sisters, Reba Parker and husband, Chalmer, of Malden, Mo., and Jo Ann Glover and husband, Ben, of Bernie, Mo.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Bryne Hartwell and one sister, Brenda Robertson.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Friday, Jan. 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Revs. Don Slatton and Bud Evans officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Ronnie and Larry Sells, Bill Hawkins, Sonny Ridings, Sammy Crawford and Brian Harrigan.
Honorary pallbearers were Jay Turner, Jerry Bridges and Carl Farris.
