Peggy Joan Bledsoe, 64, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at Poplar Bluff Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Born Oct. 20, 1942, in Malden, daughter of Hazel Louise Crawford Buchanan and the late Clin Buchanan, she was a member of the Cancer Support Group in Malden.

Survivors include one son, Anthony Steven Wood and wife, Suzzy, of Malden; one daughter, Cynthia Kaye Deen, of Malden; her mother, Hazel Green, of Malden; her fiancee, Felix Sherman, of Malden and six grandchildren, Kaye Lynn Fitzpatrick and Sherina Fowler, both of Caruthersville, Mo., Devon and Dalton Woods, both of Portageville, Mo., and Shane and Megan Roper, both of Kennett.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Terri Lynn Roper and Leah Joan Crank and her step-father, T.B. Green.

Funeral services were held at noon, Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. Roger Fowler officiating.

Burial was in the Rosewood Cemetery.
