Bobby Joe Ray, 47, of Kennett, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at the St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau.

Born June 27, 1959, at Wardell, Mo., son of the late Jessie James and Zora Bessie Beckwith Ray, he was a machine operator.

Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Dawn Stoetling, of Rector, Ark., seven brothers, Henry and Jessie Ray, of Rector; Alford and Darrell Ray, of Rockford, Ill.; Arvell D. Ray, of Campbell, Mo.; Lloyd Ray, of Greenway, Ark.; and Donald Ray, of Wilhelmina, Mo.; five sisters, Shirlene Oliver, of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; Louise Johns, of Oxly, Mo.; Darlene Smith, of Pomona Park, Fla.; Sandy Duello, of St. Louis, Mo.; and Shirley Allison, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one grandson, Ethan Allen Stoetling, of Rector.

Visitation will be from 1 to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel at Campbell.

Services will follow at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel at Campbell, with Rev Tony Wood officiating.

Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
