Nellie French

Nellie French, 89, of Kennett, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.

Born April 6, 1917, in White Oak, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Eli and Bertie Pratt George.

Survivors include one grandson, Jimmie French, of Kennett; one granddaughter, Tracy Adams, of Jonesboro, Ark., and three great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Easton Adams and Sidne French.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bennie French and three brothers, Carmel, Jewell and Grover George.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, Dec. 19, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Zack Parr officiating.

Burial was in the Gregory Cemetery at Kennett.
