Betty Sue Davis, 66, of Hornersville, Mo., died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, Miss.
Born May 24, 1940, in Caruth, Mo., daughter of the late Raymond and Ann Marie Jaco Carson, she was a homemaker and a member of the Hornersville Methodist Church.
On Aug. 22, 1958, in Senath, Mo., she married Curtis Davis, who preceded her in death on July 24, 1976. She was also preceded in death by one son, Vince Curtis Davis; one brother, Everett Carson and four sisters, Irene Brooks, Callie Eubanks, Lola Jones and Myrtle Pruitt.
Survivors include two sons, Terence Lee Davis and wife, Nellie, of Arbyrd, Mo., and Travis Allen Davis and wife, Jacqueline, of Germany; one daughter, Teresa Johnson and husband, Johnny, of Southaven; one brother, Donald Carson and wife, Bessie, of Kennett; two sisters, Opal Pitts, of Hornersville and Faye Moles, of Kennett; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Friday, Dec. 15, at the Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home Chapel in Hornersville with the Rev. Mike Hargraves officiating.
Burial was in the Horner Cemetery.
