Geral Albert Whitehead, 71, of Senath, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, in Berger, Mo.

Born Nov. 30, 1935, in Caruth, Mo., he was the son of the late Pledy and Gertie Warren Whitehead.

On June 13, 1959, in Arbyrd, Mo., he married Norma Hunter, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Terry Hunter and wife, Vanessa, of Berger, Mo.; two brothers, Talbert Whitehead, of Port St. Luce, Fla., and Jack Whitehead, of Kennett and three sisters, Rosetta Hook, of Las Vegas, Suetta Hall and Drucella Duke, both of Williamsville, Mo.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Elmer and Don L. Whitehead and one sister, Bonnie Sue Whitehead.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.

Burial was in the Senath Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Marshall, Ryan and Michael Hunter, John Anderson, Barry Long and John Raines.
