Joe Miller, 83, of Kennett, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at the Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center at Kennett.

Born March 8, 1923, at Senath, Mo., he was the son of the late Joseph Henry and Millie Chipman Miller Dunivan.

On June 10, 1944, he marred Rosemary Martin, who survives.

Other survivors include one son, Dennis Miller and wife, Brenda, of Louisville, Ky..; one daughter, Jo Carol Smith and husband, Daniel, of Rockport, Texas; one sister, Ruby Sutton, of Sutton, Texas; two grandchildren, Tracy Leigh Davis, of Louisville, and Lindsey Rhae Smith, of Huntsville, Texas; and two great-grandchildren, Kendall Nicole Davis and Jared Robert Davis, both of Louisville.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Miller, and one sister, Birtie Mae Lee.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, at the McDaniel Funeral Home at Kennett, Mo.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, at the McDaniel Chapel with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
