Barry Anthony Braswell, 51, of Deering, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Born March 2, 1955, in Hayti, Mo., son of James E. and Lillie B. Thrasher Braswell, he was a 1973 graduate of North Pemiscot High School and had attended Southeast Missouri State University. He was owner and operator of the Burger Barn in Braggadocio, Mo. and he attended the Braggadocio Baptist Church.

On July 29, 1988, in Caruthersville, Mo., he married Linda Dianne Shell, who survives.

Survivors also include one daughter, Candace Braswell, of Deering; one brother, Gary Braswell and wife, Ginny, of Caruthersville; one sister, Tammy Parchman and husband, Louis, of Blytheville, Ark.; his parents, Joe and Lillie Braswell of Pascola, Mo., and his father and mother-in-law, Horace and Doris Shell, of Caruthersville.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1, at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti with Bro. Paul Dabdoub officiating.

Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
