Dortha Mae Davis, 79, of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born June 2, 1927, in Bloomfield, Mo., daughter of the late Archie and Mary Maude Forbes Batchelor, she was of the Baptist faith.

On May 31, 1946, she married Grady Davis, who preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1980. She was also preceded in death by one son, Randall Davis and three brothers, Junior, Raymond and Bueford Batchelor.

Survivors include one son, Bud Davis, of Risco, Mo.; three daughters, Connie Warth, of St. Charles, Mo., Joan Floyd, of Ripley, Miss., and Kathy Dennington, of Gideon, Mo.; one sister, Daphna Allen, of Malden; three brothers, John Batchelor, of Fairdealing, Mo., and Bill and Bob Batchelor, both of Malden; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darren Baker officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
