Helen Maezel Gore, 81, of Kennett, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Aug. 16, 1925, in Lafe, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Vernes Jackson and Leda Lorene Mott Davidson.

She married James Dalton Gore, who preceded her in death on July 1, 1971. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Velis and Denver Davidson.

Survivors include two sons, Larry M. Chafin, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Rick Gore, of Kennett; two brothers, O.J. Davidson, of Jackson, Tenn., and Jerry Davidson, of Knobel, Ark.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Thursday, Dec. 7, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 8, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Spencer Furby officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers are grandsons and nephews.
