Billie Sue Pierce, 70, of Patterson, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at her residence.
Born Nov. 2, 1936, in Cardwell, Mo., daughter of the late Terry and Laura Lavell Whitaker White, she was a caregiver for In-Home Service and was of the Baptist faith.
She married Dwen Pierce, who preceded her in death in Dec. 1990. She was also preceded in death by one son, Dennis Hamms and one sister, Maxine White.
Survivors include two sons, Shane Hamms and wife, Paula, of Lebanon, Mo., and Monty Pierce and wife, Joni, of Sedalia, Mo.; two daughters, Angela Brooks and husband, Charles, of Patterson and Alicia Schulte, of Cardwell; two brothers, Glen White and wife, Nancy, of Swanton, Ohio and Michey White and wife, Judi, of Coloma, Mich.; six sisters, Dorothy Turner, of Paso Robles, Calif., Carma Whitehead, of Elkhart, Ind., Angela Sanders and husband, Ron, of Florence, Ariz., Ginger Clark and husband, Chuck, of Benton Harbor, Mich., Janet Dudley, of Saint Helen, Mich., and Pauline Lawrence, of Paragould, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the Ruegg Funeral Home Chapel in Piedmont, Mo. with the Rev. Ric Stiegman officiating.
Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery at Swedeborg, Mo.
Honorary pallbearers were Chuck Brooks, Mark Randal, Danny Reynolds, Eric Reed, Russell Jones and Garrett and Josh Hamms.
