Riley

Brenda Joyce Riley, 63, of Clarkton, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, at Memphis, Tenn.

Born Feb. 15, 1943, in St. Louis, Mo., daughter of Juanita Shepard Robinson and the late Jack Robinson, she was a teacher at Clarkton and a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Malden, Mo.

On Aug. 26, 1961, in Clarkton, she married Kenneth Wayne Riley, Jr., who preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 1997. She was also preceded in death by one son, Keith Allen Riley and one sister, Vicki Robinson.

Survivors include one daughter, Dianna Jackson, of Fort Smith, Ark.; one son, Wayne Riley, of Clarkton; her mother, Juanita Robinson, of Clarkton and three grandchildren, Heather and Ashley Jackson, of Fort Smith and Garrett Riley, of Clarkton.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Benjamin Meyer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Grace Lutheran Church.
