Cora McCain, 89, of Gideon, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at Gideon.
Born July 19, 1917, at Bigelow, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Richard and Nola Bell Truelove. Others who preceded her in death include one brother, Alvin Truelove; and one sister, Naomi Auler.
On Jan. 2, 1936, she married Ladelle McCain who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Carl Gene McCain, of Gideon; and Bill McCain of Gideon; one sister, Jean Causbie, of Kennett, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Leslie Lacewell, Bryan McCain, Michael McCain, Eric McCain, Steve Davis, Jerrad Preson, Kyle Preson, and Cody McCain; and two great-grandchildren, Zachary Lacewell and Kayla McCain.
Visitation was at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at the McDaniel Funeral Home at Kennett.
The funeral service was at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at the McDaniel Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating.
Burial followed at the Memorial Gardens at Kennett.
Pallbearers included Michael, Bryan, Eric, and Cody McCain, Danny Lacewell, and Bubba Smith.
