Stella Neeley

Myrtle Stella Neeley, 80, of Copperas Cove, Texas, formerly of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at Hill Country Nursing Home in Copperas Cove.

Born Nov. 7, 1926, in Malden, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Redman, she was owner/operator of Neeley Grocery in Malden, member of First Assembly of God Church in Malden and Grace United Methodist Church in Copperas Cove.

On Feb. 8, 1947, in Piggott, Ark., she married Arthur Neeley, who preceded her in death on March 31, 1980. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Ruben, Floyd, Dewey and Earnest Redman and four sisters, Mary Shelton, Nellie Wilmath, Flossie Lee and Marie Stonecipher.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Hampton, of Copperas Cove; one son, Roger Dale Neeley, of Farmington, Mo.; three brothers, Ralph, James and Delbert Redman; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 4, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 4, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Phillips officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
