Ronald Lloyd Brooks, 51, of Batesville, Ark., died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, in North Little Rock, Ark.
Born May 21, 1955, in Mt. Pleasant, Ark., son of Iretta Dees Brooks and the late Ruddell Brooks, he was a truck driver and a member of the Old Glaze Baptist Church in Bradford, Ark.
Survivors include his wife, Gaye Brooks, of Batesville, Ark.; three sons, Joe and Tim Brooks, both of Batesville and Mike Brooks, of Bradford, Ark.; three step-sons, Garrett Lassabbe, of Gulf Port, Miss., and HomerSmall, of Hawaii and Bo MacHenry Small, both of Batesville; one step-daughter, Tiffany Small, of Batesville; his mother Irretta Brooks, of Kennett; three brothers, Alan Brooks, of Blytheville, Ark., and Terry and Tony Brooks, both of Batesville; four sisters, Wanda Goodrich and Vicky Rudd, both of Kennett, Tabatha Bunch, of Cave City, Ark., and Kay Guthrie, of Newport, Ark., and eleven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Brooks.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., today, Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Willis-Hays Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville with Bruce Morris officiating.
Burial was in the Barren Fork Cemetery at Mt. Pleasant.
Pallbearers were Wesley and Wade Cooley, John Midkiff, Tony Guthrie, Bobby Joe Franks and Carl Prince.
Honorary pallbearers were Bo Bunch, Larry Cooley, James and Cody Westbrook, Carl and Sam Goodrich and Johnny Rudd.
