Jason M. Tate, 18, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at Hayti, Mo.
Born June 18, 1988, in Blytheville, Ark., son of Guy Tate and Tammie Meales of Caruthersville, he was a 2006 graduate of Caruthersville High School.
Survivors include, one brother, Justin Tate, of Caruthersville; one half-sister Sara Sweetman, of Caruthersville, His father, Guy Tate, of Caruthersville; his mother, Tammie Meales, of Caruthersville and grandmothers, Marianna Meales and Claudette Cecil and husband, Melvin, of Caruthersville.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jesse Meale.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 12 at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were John Hall, Jacob Emery, Keith Creekmore, Brandon Flippo, John Michael Bailey, Matt Downey, and Mark Fullerton.
Honorary pallbearers were Parker Maners, Tyler Thomas, Jacob VanAusdall, Rogers VanAusdall, Cody Pickens, Chad Woods, and Adam Erickson.
