Kenneth Wayne Westmorlan, 74, of Hornersville, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, at his residence.

Born Aug. 15, 1932, in Hollywood, Mo., son of the late Franklin and Althea Pattillo Westmorlan, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, a barber, and a member of the Hornersville Baptist Church, American Legion Post 362 of Hornersville and the Hornersville Housing Board.

On Feb. 14, 1959, in Senath, Mo., he married Christine Burton, who preceded him in death on Sept. 24, 1999. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Bud Westmorlan and one sister, Kathleen Westmorlan Sykes.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Westmorlan and wife, Faye, of Arbyrd, Mo., and Gary Westmorlan and wife, C.J., of Hornersville; one brother, Hubert Westmorlan and wife, Gloria, of West Memphis, Ark.; one sister, Evelyn Fowler and husband, Sherman, of Essex, Mo., and four grandchildren, Jeffiner Westmorlan, of San Antonio, Texas, Wesley Westmorlan, of Arbyrd, Brett Westmorlan, of Oceana Naval Air Station, Va., and Justyn Westmorlan, of Hornersville.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home in Hornersville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 22, at the Hornersville Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Clinton officiating.

Burial with military rites will follow in the Horner Cemetery at Hornersville.

Pallbearers are Todd Fish, Mike Fowler, Tommy Burgess, Bobby McGrew, Bob McGrew, Jr., and Mike Whitmer.

Honorary pallbearers are Ryan and Marty Moore, Jimmy Lea, Troy Marshall, Herb Kaneko, Tracy Taylor, Bud Greenfield and Carl Pierce.
