Howard Lee Ramey, 51, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 18, 1955, in Batesville, Ark., son of Shirley Billingsley Starker and the late Tommy Lee Ramey, he was employed with the Cape Girardeau Community Sheltered Workshop.

Survivors include two sisters, Victoria Smith and husband, Bruce, of Marion, Ark., and Vanessa Howard and husband, Lovell, of West Memphis, Ark.; one brother, Charles Anthony Ramey, of Leavenworth, Kan.; his mother, Shirley Billingsley Starker, of Malden, Mo.; two step-sisters, Betty McFarland, of Detroit, Mich., and Shirley Neely, of Chicago, Ill., and one step-brother, Sylvester Holloway, of Chicago, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Luster Starker.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 17, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 17, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lovell Howard officiating.

Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery at Malden.
