Elizabeth "Lib" Caneer Johnson, 85, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, at NHC Health Care Center in Kennett, Mo.

Born Aug. 9, 1921, at Senath, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Brady and Pearl Edmonston Caneer.

She married H.M. Johnson, who preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 2000. She was also preceded in death by two sons, H.M. Johnson, Jr. and James Brady Johnson; one daughter, Elizabeth "Sam" Johnson; two brothers, J.B. and Lon Caneer and two sisters, Mildred and Gene Lo.

Survivors include two sons, Tom Johnson and wife, Teresa, of Senath, and Billy Charles Johnson,of Senath; one brother, Robert Caneer and wife, Faye, of Senath and several grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Mike Todd, Don Wallace, Tommy Wilkins, Al Purvis, Kavin Holmes, and John Raines.
