Mattie Bell Ingrum Vandiver, 82, of Hornersville, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.

Born Sept. 16, 1924, in Blytheville, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Spence Mitchell and Elizabeth Greer Ingrum.

On July 18, 1945, in Paragould, Ark., she married John Franklin Vandiver, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Spencer "Bo" Ingrum and one sister, Mary Covington.

Survivors include two sons, Danny F. Vandiver and wife, Joyce, of Arnold, Mo., and Johnny O. Vandiver, of Kennett; one daughter, Rose Marie Pruitt and husband, Ron, of Arnold; four grandchildren, Mark, John and Jason Vandiver and Ken Pruitt, Jr. and three great-grandchildren, Zacharey, Austin and Raycee Vandiver.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., today, Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Hornersville.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Hornersville with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial will follow in the Horner Cemetery at Hornersville.

Pallbearers are Jackie Taylor, Terry Keating, Bud Thomas, Jerry Brown and Jimmy Lee.
