Bobby Jean Rouse, 65, of Kennett, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006, at Kennett.
Born Feb. 21, 1941, in England, Ark., daughter of the late Alfred and Nona Henderson Woods, she was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal fairh.
On March 21, 1959, in Senath, Mo., she married Jesse Rouse, Jr, who preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1991. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gary Woods, Larry Woods and Tony Woods.
Survivors include one son, Mike Rouse and wife, Darla, of Mayfield, Ky.; two daughters, Patricia Ward and Tom Beaver, of Kennett and Phyllis Rouse and Mike Pearson, of Kennett; seven grandchildren, Lance Corporal Michael, Laurie, Megan and Josh Rouse, all of Mayfield, Jessica and Ashley Ward and Jesse Gore, all of Kennett; one great-granddaughter, AddaLynn Ward, of Kennett; five brothers, Jack Woods, of Indio, Calif., Billy Woods and wife, Karen, Robert Woods and wife, Frances, of Kentucky, Darrell "Curly" Woods and wife, Alice, of East Prairie, Mo., and Alfred "Bubby" Woods and wife, Karen, of Pontiac, Mich.; two sisters, Janice Martin and husband, Lyle, of Warren, Mich., and Mary Sue Rammal, of Pontiac; several nieces, great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 13, at the McDaniel Funeral Home chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Jamie Grisham and Pastor Carolyn Caraway officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Justin W. Beaver, Vernon Lowe, Johnny Woods, Billy "Dink" Woods, Brian Thomas Woods and Robert Woods, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Dink Baron, Scotty Johnson and Lance Corporal Michael Rouse.
