Eva Annabelle Cochran

Eva Annabelle Cochran, 77, of Hayti, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital at Hayti.

Born Oct. 16, 1929, at Hayti, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Opal Mae Holt Jones. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She married Charles Cochran who survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Brenda Nave Southern of Hayti; one son, Danny Ray Nave of Farmington, Mo.; five grandchildren, Curtis Ray Nave of Hayti, Audrey Singleton of Kennett, Mo., Cindy Wheatly of Puxico, Mo., and Nathan and Matthew Nave of Savannah, Tenn; two great-grandchildren, Curtis James "C.J." Nave of Hayti, and Alexis Averett of Savannah, Tenn.; and three half-sisters, Lisa Hall, Jean Gaskins, and Bea Blassingam.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Curtis Lewis Nave and infant son Houston Ricky Nave.

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at the John W. German Funeral Home at Hayti with Dr. Mike Melton officiating.

Burial followed at the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.

Pallbearers were Michael Hepler, Brandon Irions, Brian Irions, Scott McRill, Rickey Scott, and William Singleton.
