Norman Eugene Ledford

Norman Eugene Ledford, 80, of Campbell, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Born Oct. 25, 1926, in Formosa, Ark., son of the late Levi Harvey and Almeaty Ship Ledford, he was a police dispatcher for the City of Campbell and a member of the Mt. Gilead General Baptist Church.

On Oct. 5, 1946, in Piggott, Ark., he married Eva Mae Loyd, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Billy Gene Ledford, of Campbell; one daughter, Edna Joyce Ledford, of Evansville, Ind.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ilda Herring and Wilma Mayfield and one brother Alton Ledford.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, Nov. 10, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Vinson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
