Connie Virginia Treece, 70, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at the Dyersburg Regional Medical Center at Dyersburg, Tenn.

Born Jan. 2, 1936, at Steele, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Otwon and Mildred Dooley Cobb. She was a member of the Church of God at Caruthersville and had served as an election judge for many years in Pemiscot County.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Cobb.

On Sept. 23, 1954, she married Ray H. Treece Sr. at Hernando, Miss., who survives.

Other survivors include one son, Harold Treece and wife, Donna, of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter, Connie Fullhart and husband, David, of Caruthersville; four grandchildren, Matthew and Tyler Fullhart of Caruthersville, Stuart Treece, of Caruthersville, and Amber Treece, of Springfield; an one sister, Shirley Cobb, of Memphis, Tenn.

The funeral service was held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, at the Church of God at Caruthersville with the Rev. Glyn Davis officiating.

Burial followed at the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were Matt Fullhart, Tyler Fullhart, Stuart Treece, Chris Cobb, Greg Turnbow, and Brad Treece.
