Born Oct. 11, 1935, in Charleston, Mo., daughter of the late Arthur Udell "Tobe" McGill and Stella Mae Kern, she was former owner of the Patty Cake Bakery in Malden and a member of the First General Baptist Church in Malden.
On Dec. 9, 1951, in Malden, she married Jerry H. Johnson, who survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Susie Hays and husband, Eric, of Malden and Sherry Johnson, of Sikeston, Mo.; one son, Jim Johnson, and wife, Anne, of League City, Texas; two sisters, Merle Hinze and husband, Don, of Mattawan, Mich., and Wanda Johnson and husband, Charles, of Malden; one brother, Carl McGill and wife, Anita, of Malden; two granddaughters, Susan McCormick and Meredith Garris, both of Malden; five great-grandchildren, Lexi and Ashley Lambott, Kailee Garris and Parker and Case McCormick; five nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Austill and an infant brother.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, Nov. 3, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Richard Blagg and Howard Winberry officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
Pallbearers were David Blalock, Troy Mooney, Wayne Blalock, Chuck Provance, Pee Wee Nelson and Garland White.
