Thelma Bridwell

Thelma Settlemire Bridwell, 69, of Kennett, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born July 5, 1937, she was the daughter of the late J.W. and Rosie Settlemore.

Survivors include two sisters, Nancy Martee, of Kennett and Jannie Crouch, of Brinkley, Ark.; one granddaughter, Lerine Rowland, of Kennett and one grandson, Torell Bryant, of Kennett.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Alma Rowland; three brothers, Joe, William and Cecil Settlemire and two sisters, Cardelia Ledbetter and Beatrice Duckworth.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Thurday, Nov. 2, at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector, Ark., with Elaine Harris and Judy Conder officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery at Greenway, Ark.
