Lewis-Brown

David Lewis and Lindsay Brown were married Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at Our Lady of the Chesapeake in Pasadena, Md., with Rev. Brian Rafferty officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother, Laura Dowling and her brother, Ryan Brown.

The maid of honor was Lauren Dowling, cousin of the bride. Brianne Jeffries, cousin of the bride and Theresa Dioguardi and Emily Nussbaum, friends of the bride, served as bridesmaids. Flower girl was Sarah Dowling, cousin of the bride.

Robert Lewis, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Derek Cunningham and Jeremy Holcomb, friends of the groom and Jason Copeland, friend of the bride and groom.

The Arch of Swords was performed by members of the United States Marine Corps and United States Navy.

A reception was held following the ceremony in the church reception building.

The bride is a student at the University of West Florida in Pensacola where she is majoring in pre-med.

The groom is a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corp and is currently employed at the Naval Air Station and will start flight school in January, 2007 to become a marine pilot.

The couple is making their home in Pensacola, Fla.
